And then she was four...

and I wonder how the time went so quickly!  It just doesn't seem possible that my itty bitty 4 lb. 14 oz. newborn is suddenly FOUR.  But she was so excited.  Every day she asked me how many days were left until her birthday.  She can't grasp that concept right now (I don't think) but I do know that when I told her "tomorrow" she cheered and cheered!

Megan's fourth birthday started out like any other Tuesday.  Except her morning milk had birthday sprinkles.  As did her muffin.  And there were extra hugs and kisses.  She went to dance, as usual.  But today her grandparents arrived after dance.  And they played and played. And they watched Tangled.  Which was very conveniently released on her birthday.   Then after dinner there was singing and cake and presents!  She was most thrilled with her Buzz Lightyear, her new bike and her Rapunzel dress.  And it was declared the best day ever.  Until the next day...

The birthday celebration continued with cupcakes and singing at school.  I made Rapunzel's Hair cupcakes.  Megan was so excited to share her birthday with all of her school friends.  She even wore her birthday hat all day. 

The Birthday Festivus continues on Saturday at her birthday party.  Stay tuned!
